We Are SO Close! Please Help!!

Dear Parents,
We are SO CLOSE to meeting our needed sign up to get $500 worth of PE EQUIPMENT!
We just need 26 more kids…that is one student per class.
This does not involve money — it simply involves registering and committing to taking care of your heart through exercise and diet.
Here is a link to the BLOG POST about the challenge.
Our School Page for registration can be found here.
WE CAN DO IT!  Just 26 more kids and we have $500 worth of new PE equipment for everyone to use!

Going Gaga!

A youtube video showing the game of gaga is here.

We would like to ask for your support with a Physical Education WISH.  Our playground has space to accommodate a GAGA BALL PIT—and we’d love to have a pit added to our green space.

The game of GAGA is high paced, high energy and high fun.  It combines the skills of dodging, running, jumping and eye/hand/body coordination.  The addition of a GAGA PIT on our playground would benefit:

  • PE:  Support our instructional skills.

  • Recess: Provide another activity for children on the 2-5 playground.

  • Community:  Available for after hours use for family, friends and community members.

Our PTC has donated partial funding from the Fall WALK•A•THON earnings.  We believe we can cover the total cost through a special three week fundraiser.

GOAL:  Donate $1.00 per child.

INCENTIVE:  Class that raises the most $$ will be first to use the GAGA PIT once it is assembled.

FUNDRAISER DATES:  January 12-23.  A weekly update on the winners will be posted.

Send your GAGA DOLLARS to school so we can have a Georgetown Gaga Pit!
